TJMF Publishing is pleased to announce our
associations with
Baker & Taylor,
Google
Books and
Amazon.com. We're serious about creating new and
exciting opportunities and with that new and
exciting changes to TJMF Publishing and this site.
This development will allow TJMF authors to be part
of the world of bookstores across the country.
Essentially, TJMF books will be available for
purchase by bookstores from all chains. We also
have our own buyer's representative at
Baker and
Taylor. Now you will be able to purchase or order
TJMF Publishing's titles at Barnes & Noble and other
popular stores plus major internet suppliers like
Amazon.com. On Google Book Search you'll be
able to preview books by our participating
authors.
For anyone who has published a book through TJMF, it
is easy to become part of this new promotional
method.
Simply notify us of your interest.
A one-time fee of $50.00 will be required to cover the
time involved. You have to be or have been
published by TJMF as our relationship with Baker and
Taylor is as a publisher. TJMF will do all the
paperwork on your behalf and will provide B&T with
all your book and personal information along with
your scheduled appearances (a must) and readings.
This fee also includes submitting your full book and
cover to
Google
for their book preview, and
Amazon.com for worldwide sales. We will also maintain a page here on the site with
all that same information.
PLUS
If you are a beginning author who would like to see
your writing in print, our new changes will make
TJMF Publishing a great choice for you. If you're
serious about publishing a book, this is the place
to be. Our goal is to help deserving authors get
published. We will be offering two programs to
do that - "traditional" and "cooperative"
publishing. Yes, that's right, we said
"traditional" publishing.
Enthusiasm is high, as this represents a major shift
in direction for TJMF Publishing. The opportunity
for nationwide distribution is a great one. It also
opens doors for book signings and appearances at
chain bookstores. Quite frankly, we started with
Baker and Taylor in 2004 but we were not ready.
During recent meetings with their staff we realized
how inexperienced we were. Now, Baker and Taylor is
prepared to offer a world of services for us to take
advantage of and we're ready to go.
In the days to come, the TJMF website will undergo
some changes in keeping with this new growth and
direction. The face and site content will change to
fit our new goals, including author pages with
bio's, book information, buy buttons and scheduled
appearances and readings - new bookstore with
updated information, links to buy buttons and
important information for each published author - a
new forum with all the help you need to create a
book, work your project and get published, and
continued articles by our
Staff Editor - Patty Zion,
and references to all the right sites where you can
get what you need. We will have available editing
services, cover design and formatting services and
book layout assistance all for extremely reasonable
fees.
Exciting days ahead - don't miss it.
