Been writing poetry since June, 2003
The inspiration for my writing comes from family, memories of my
family on our farm in Rumford in the foothills of the White
Mountains in Maine where we raised our kids, an infatuation with
time.
I was a high school principal in Maine for 23 years; am a
professor of educational leadership for the last eleven years at
the University of Southern Maine. Was diagnosed with Parkinson's
seven years ago. Doing OK.
Married my high school sweetheart who is still the apple of my
eye and the focus of my being.
Two kids, a sons 39 and a daughter 37 (who lives with her
husband and our two granddaughters right across the road. What a
life!)
My warm weather hobby is gardening and landscaping.
Cold weather hobby is making toy pewter soldiers.
